  More and more customers are being integrated via Web with Cacesa on its Cargo Operation to Canary Islands, reaching improvements in the data quality through the elimination of re-typing; reduction of the documentary acceptance time in our facilities; and benefits like the ability to use the information generated in this system (exportable) to transmit data throughout their organisations or cary out an "inverse integration"; reducion of the time dedicated (and cost associated) to billing control, amongst others.

  Ibexpress ensures its position in Baleares, increasing the traffic so much in the service Door to Door as Airport to Airport.
  Ibexpress establishes a very competitive option to Baleares both in price and in service, which relies on the possibility of shipment in the Iberia and Vueling flights, with pick ups and delivers up to 30 minutes from the departure / arrival of the plane.

  Cacesa consolidates the traffic origin Asia and destine South America.
  Inside the program of collaboration with Iberia named Iberia Closer, Cacesa re-sends the freight origin Asia towards South America. Each time there are more clients who request this service due to the reliability and urgency with which the shipments are realized.

  Iberia has announced for the next 2009 an increase to the supply of its cargo planes to all canary island destinations. Iberia will offer 10 weekly frequencies with a cargo aircrafts with capacity of 30 tonnes per flight, additional supply to the passenger aircraft that were increased by 33% on the Cargo bid offered in 2008.

  Cacesa has signed an agreement with a consultancy company specialized in the inbound in the Chinese Market with the aim to open an own office in Shanghai next year. This event is included within the development strategy of logistics nets among Asia, Spain and Latin America, a strategy that Cacesa has been developing successfully since 2003.

  CACESA makes things easier to the users of its product Ibexpress. With the proof of delivery (POD) service by SMS, Ibexpress costumers will be reported on time of the status of its delivery.

  Within the development that Iberia is carrying out to introduce the e-freight, they have assigned CACESA as one of the agents to set the flow of documents that will allow tests between countries with e-freight conditions.
  
  The e-freight introduction facilitates, through electronic documents, the operative proceedings that nowadays are made on paper.
  
  It is noteworthy that CACESA already uses for its domestic traffic, the IBERIA CARGO e-AWB, a project CACESA also helped to develop.

  Shangai hosted the third edition of the Transport Logistics China fair, that gathers more than 11.000 visitors from 66 different countries. During the event, with more than 430 expositors, new proposals for a constant growth market have been presented, including solutions to logistics, telematic, electronic trade, internal transport, different ways of cargo transport and others related services.

  The theatre company “La Zaranda” is nowadays on tour through South America, performing a play called “Los que ríen los últimos”. To be able to do the tour, CACESA transports all the set design materials through all the different countries they are visiting, and manages as well the return of the goods. At present, the play is been performed on: Panamá, San José de Costa Rica y México, and afterwards they will come back to Madrid and go to New York on June 08. The collaboration between “La Zaranda” and CACESA started on 2004, when the company entrusted the sending of goods to CACESA in order to send the materials for a puppet theatre.

  Establishment of new office in Rio Janeiro (Brasil). Cacesa continues establishing its own offices in the main airports of Latin America, promoting the local commercial action.

  Once overcome the visits of validation made by the personnel of Civil Aviation to its facilities, CACESA has renewed the condition of Accredited Agent as for airport safety.
  
  This accreditation, which is valid for a period of five years, has been granted to the facilities that Cacesa has at the airports in Madrid, Barcelona, Santiago de Compostela, Bilbao, Valencia, Palma de Mallorca, Málaga and Seville.

  CACESA introduces new functionalities in its website in order to provide more information to their clients. It is possible to check and print the Air Way Bill as well as the Customs Clearance Documentation in Transitario's area. At the same time, it allows to consult invoices with their complete details.

  This year CACESA celebrates its 20th anniversary as a Freight Forwarder, Courier and Logistics Services Company. Year after year, Cacesa has efficiently been meeting the freight transport needs of their clients. Nowadays, it develops three main products: Ibexpress Courier, Cacesa Freight Fowarding and Alaer logistics, with presence in all the Spanish airports and in the main ones around the world.

  Establishment of new office in Quito (Ecuador). After the establishment in Buenos Aires and Bogota with our own offices, Cacesa's objetive is to continue doing the same in the main airports of Latin America, promoting the local commercial action.

  ALAER has signed a new contract to manage the Iberia Maintenance Management warehouse in Barcelona. After developing successfully the logistic service in Barajas Airport, now Iberia has entrusted Alaer with its warehouse logistics in the Prat Airport in Barcelona.

  On the occasion of its 20th anniversary, CACESA organized an important convention in The Tryp Alameda Hotel in Madrid from 19 to 20 of April. More than 100 assistants were met, professionals, clients, agents and friends who treated interesting subjects for the future of the freight transport business. Everyone celebrated the anniversary as an important event for the freight transport, a field in which Cacesa holds a leadership position.

  Cacesa Group opens two new offices in Gibraltar and La Li­nea. Taking advantage of the daily Iberia route to Gibraltar, Cacesa opens these two places to manage the Cargo freight transport in this area.

  Cacesa introduces a new automatic system for the shipments tracking and trace. When collecting the shipment, the Cacesa employee, with a mobile device, records on the status on line, so that the customer may check the tracking of the shipments on line in the web of Cacesa.

  Cacesa Freight Forwarding consolidates the fresh fish and fruit import traffic ( IATA perishable goods) from the main distribution companies. Thousands of tons per year of fresh fish from South Africa, North Atlantic and South America have considerably increased, as well as the fruit from Latin American. In 2006 near of 9 million of kilos have been transported from this areas.

  Cacesa group launches a new website With the last modifications done in the website, some innovations have been included in order to facilitate to our clients the total use of our services. It is as possible to order a shipment as well as checking the shipment status or having some shipments statistics, among other functionalities.

  Cacesa increases its traffic in Asia as much as 75% in 2006. During 2006 Cacesa has obtained excellent results with its traffics in this area. Nowadays, Cacesa has agreements with reliable agents in the main places of this area, which allows the company to offer any route with Asia as origin or destination with all the guaranties.

  Cacesa group selects Suite E- Cash from Sage Finance group as the provider of financial management solutions. This new application meets all the operative procedures as well as users needs. The linkage with the bank is automated and integrated facilitating the works of conciliations and extraction of finance reports.

  Establishment of new offices in Bogota. After the establishment in Buenos Aires with our own offices, Cacesa´s objective is to continue doing the same in the main airports of Latin America. This fact could improve the quality of the service as well as promotes the local commercial action.

  Ibexpress uses the New Iberia Boeing 757 for the cargo freight flight to Canaries. These new aircrafts, with a large capacity and reliability, operate this route since October 2006.

  Cacesa attended The Transport Logistic China Fair in Shanghai, where more than 300 exhibitors from 33 countries were met with the latest technologies and transport and logistics services. Air Cargo China has been more than a fair. It has been included a program of conferences and events directed mainly to the air cargo business. Around 9.000 visitors from 81 different countries have visited the fair, between them we could find airlines, agents and collaborators looking for new business opportunities.

  ALAER has signed a contract to manage the Iberia Maintenance Management warehouse. Alaer is in charge of the storage, control and transport of the different kinds of materials in the Iberia warehouse in Barajas Airport.

  IBEXPRESS takes control at home of the distribution of DELL COMPUTERS in everything Spain, Baleares and the Canary Islands. With this agreement, IBEXPRESS inaugurates a new called service SWAP (shipments with return) that applies to shipments of pieces, peripheral and monitors of the American giant, world-wide leader of sale of PC' s by Inernet. The service has been designed to cover the commitment with DELL COMPUTERS with its clients in all Spain, being offered a service in he himself day for the replenishment of material in period of guarantee. IBEXPRESS takes care to give in any point of Spain in he himself day, with the added value to carry out the connection of the monitors in the address of the client.

  CACESA transfers their central servants to the Center of Process of Data that Iberia has in the Muñoza (Barajas - Madrid). With this measurement it guarantees the permanent availability of his systems before any contingency.
